Well i appear to have solved a few of my main problems (no maps, no email etc etc) as the phone wsan't registered on the Blackberry network. Quick call to Vodafone this morning (25 minutes) and it's all sorted.

Now, my next problem is with syncing up. I'm going through the wizard and all seems fine. It starts the process, sees 151 records on device records(I assume this means see's 151 contacts on phone), then states

"processing device address book" and errors @ record 82 with "unable to read application data". And this is how it looks -:

Phoned Voda who don't have a Blackberry techy to help on site!! (Wow - brand exclusive in UK and no support on a Sunday - 40,000 sent out on Friday apparantly). So I'm left to poke around more forums to try and ind a resolution.

Did you use change device wizard or sync through a third party client such as outlook?

Hi Guys

I'm using DM 4.3.1.15.

I'm not aware of changing any of the setting in DM or Outlook to be honest an just followed the wizard. I tried it at work yesterday to sync with an exchange server. It all looked so promising to be honest, it recognised the email address, got the emails, but still no calender, contacts or tasks even though they're obviously ticked to come through.

Like I said, the emails are coming through ok wirelessly, but even when connected via usb get nothing at all from calender notes - just same error message.

Any help appreciated guys.
