Gmail and Yahoo work well.
Remember to read the Sticky on double emails with Gmail. It is an easy fix and well worth it considering how good Gmail is with the BB.

What carrier are you on? Hotmail just started working for T-Mo. Best thing to do is just try it in the email setup and see if your hotmail works or not.

Set up Hotmail through the BlackBerry Internet Service. Do not try to get there via the Hotmail web page, but you can use mobile.hotmail.com

Setting up internet e-mail icon is for BIS service. gmail will work with this - that's what I use. They are suggesting that you use the "internet browser" to go to hotmail's site and use their webapp.

I was talking about setting it up through the BIS site on t-mobile (login to your t-mo account and look for a link that says setup internet mail) or on your blackberry (you should have a setup internet email icon on your BB). Then from there, you enter your hotmail username and password and it should allow you the ability to receive emails from your hotmail account.

If you want to access hotmail through your BB browser, you can go to mobile.msn.com or mobile.live.com.

I get it via BIS and if I want to go online to the site directly......I have no issues either.
