I just got a 7100t and I am having problems with the sync feature, I am not using Enterprise Manager....

I can sync my notes, contacts and tasks but the calendar doesnt even get a good headstart before it throws up the error.

"C++ Runtime Error has occured" It says the program was abnormally ended. Then that is it, it shuts down the Intellisync desktop manager and it also locks up MS Outlook. Outlook says a file is locked that was opened by another program (obviously this one) and I have to close and restart outlook.

If I remove the calendar from the sync options it will run just fine.... I read a previous post with a similar error that was related to recurring appointments, with that in mind I removed and recurring appointments from this day forward and I still can not sync. Tried to sync all and with a range ( from today thru 90 days).....


Any ideas anyone???

P.S. Just came from a Treo 600 to the BB 7100t. So far so good except for this nasty sync error.

what version of outlook? what version of the desktop manager?
i use outlook 2003 and desktop 4.0.1.10 without any problems at all.
