Default Jivetalk

Please Login to Remove!

I hope this does not sound like a request for warez or anything of the like, I'm looking to move over to Jivetalk, I downloaded it and all its been giving me is problems with registration. From what I've seen around here, the beta was free for a while, does anyone have the free beta software (alx and cod) for the 72XX series? Once I try it out, from what you all say about it I'll probably switch to the true Jivetalk.

Even if you could get it, it won't work anyway. It will force you to upgrade once you use it.

They are fantastically responsive. I've emailed at 4am and got a reply at 4:02am. Just contact them, I am sure they can assist.

You can get a trial code good for 30 days. I think the OP wants a freebie.

Default Battery

Nothing scientific, but it seems that the battery drains quicker when running jivetalk, even though i have it in battery saver mode.

Anyone else seeing this?

Yeah, it drains a lot quicker. It's the only downside for me. The AIM, Google, and Yahoo apps from RIM are a lot less intense on the battery, even with all three running.

i suspect it's polling a lot, and maybe if we don't have a good signal it eats the battery
