I have a single BB user who keeps losing connection with the BES. When it first started happening, we could wipe the phone (we had to go through a wipe, it wouldn't work otherwise), delete his BES account, then readd him and have him activate it. Then we stopped being able to re-activate him on the BES altogether. So we ordered a new phone, it activated immediately, but a day later he lost connection and we cannot get it back on the BES.

We have deleted his account on the BES, tried a new phone, only thing we have not done is delete his account off exchange, which I would rather not do since he is a roaming profile saving all the mail on the server.

any ideas?

Try moving the mail box to a different store can do wonders sometimes.

When deleteing the user did you remove the extra data on second question?

I do not have another exchange server or DB to move his mailbox to. On the BES I tell it to delete the user, it disappears way too fast to do the purge as well, but I should not need to do a purge on the latest version.

Ok, I have deleted this user completely. He had no mailbox, he had no account, and then i readded him from scratch. I am still having the same issue with activating his phone to the BES. There has to be something stupid simple that I am missing.

Does he have the right BES data plan? I've seen it get dropped for the stupidest reasons, and multiple times on the same user.
