Default A quick and simple question, quick and simple answer required

I'd like to start over with the Bold (as if it were fresh from the box) as I've screwed up with BES/BIS confusions.

Have done a backup using the BB Desktop Mgr software, and would like to know how to get the phone back to it's 'vanilla' state. Any ideas?

thanks all.

Options > Security Options > General Settings > Menu key > Wipe handheld.

That should get you back to factory defaults.

CAUTION: You will lose ALL data on the device. But it will return it to factory settings as stated.

OK.....did all that, and it went through it's rebuilding process fine. However, when I then went through the initial setup process, when it got to the email setup.....my 'old' email accounts were already there!

Any ideas how that could have happened? Has it preloaded something from the carrier?

Also.....and this is spooky...I receive a text message from a UK mobile number with the word 'Freezer' in it about once every 8 seconds....WTF????

You should log into your BIS account and remove all accounts from there and that will remove your accounts showing on your device. Once you do that, try the wipe again.

The SMS issue sounds strange to me. I am not sure what would cause that.

This should be the link for you

https://bis.eu.blackberry.com/html?brand=vodauk

If you added your accounts from the email setup icon on the phone, go back into that icon and create a username and password. Then login to the site.

Good luck
