Default Question about reformatting...

Please Login to Remove!

My gf's blackberry which is the 8520...and she wants to full reformat it and reinstall it again.

1) Do I use the option in blackberry Security Wipe? Or Java Loader? I think it is...

2) How do I reinstall the Operating System Back?

3) To backup everything, I should use DM to do a full backup and I will save her 3rd party applications as well and once everything is up I can restore them or should I expect something else?

4) Will the PIN on her phone be new or she can use the same on? or what?

Please anyone can help me thank you so much

Maybe (I am not hopefull) you will listen - the PIN is hardcoded to the BB and cannot be changed.

And for the other questions - http://www.blackberryfaq.com

All of the FAQs on how to wipe out the BB and how to install the OS are there.
They are the same for every model.

There are no guarantees in life.
If you choose to upgrade her BB, that is a risk you are willing to take.

Make sure you have everything backed up.
