Can you write on wallpaper?

Hi,
I just bought my very first Blackberry, a Tour 9630, and I have a rather novice question. Can you add your own text to your wall paper. Specifically I would like to have my name appear on the screen.
Thanks!

**moved to 9600 section**
You can create your own wallpaper, and put anything you like on the wallpaper, your name, your picture, your dog's picture... whatever image you want to create.
So you can't add text to existing wallpaper, but just create your own wallpaper.

Yep. Photoshop or MS Paint can put anything you like on the picture you use as wallpaper. You cannot do it from your BlackBerry, however.

Yep, I took a picture on my phone camera but couldn't figure out how to write on in. I have Windows XP on my laptop and MS Office 2003, I will check to see if Paint is included.
Thanks,

Paint is in most Windows installations, if not you download something like PaintShopPro

I do see Paint, but I am a complete novice when it comes to this stuff. What is the best way to transfer the photo from my phone to my laptop, and then use Paint to write my name across the photo and then transfer the photo back to my phone?
TIA

You can email it to yourself, or send it via Bluetooth. Email is the easiest way, and when you are done editing it, you just email it to an account that you get email with on your BB.
