Finished the install. So far so good. Still resetting some of my app settings. I guess I should wait for activation to complete before testing too much.

The battery life just seemed to drop to 60% very quickly. I hope that is from all of the reboots and apps I am running but not the OS. Anyone else see any problems?

Wirelessly posted

I hope this fixes the EDGE droppage I've been having on 174. Only way I could get my EDGE was to turn off phone and turn back on.

Got it downloaded...but for the first time I can remember, I'm a bit hesitant to load it up. .174 has been SO good for me in the last few weeks -- amazing battery life, stable... If they can fix the UMA-->EDGE call drop issue I'll be very happy. Otherwise, not much I'd be asking for in a new version...

installing now. I've been having some issues with UMA and WIFI lately with .174 where when I come out of standby, wifi is off, and when I try to turn it back on, I get a reboot. I hope this fixes that problem.

No problems for me, I even went to amazon to order a cradle $10.00 and 16gb microsd class 2 $38.00. Just keep this baby feed with good stuff.

No problems for me either.

Upgrading went flawlessly. Haven't noticed anything new except it's a little faster in opening applications and files.

It's been almost more than 12 hrs on my Javelin with this new OS and battery just down to 80%. Nice!!!

.199 is working well, so far. I was very happy with .174, but had some EDGE > WiFi issues with that version.
I haven't had any battery issues, but I charged it overnight, too.

I did notice that immediately after installing it, it thought I was on BES rather than BIS. I went to the T-Mobile site and re-sent the service books and that solved the problem.

EDIT: This relates to the FarEast version.
I tried to run it on vista & xp, oddly it tries to open in DOS window, and thus says not enough memory to run.
