Default PHone number change require enterprise reactivation?

Please Login to Remove!

If I have a verizon 8703e.

And I do a phone number swap and *228, does this someone change my PIN number or some other connectivity that makes me need to re-activate with enterprise activation? If so, what is changing that is the reason for this?

No, the PIN is hardcoded into the device itself. It cannot be changed.
Changing the phone number and doing *228 programming will not require you to re-activate the device on the BES.

I have a phone that has ceased to work under these conditions. Additionally, it's lost all data connectivity using the blackberry browser, but I am able to browse the web using Opera once I ran their network connection test suite again.

Of course, voice works fine.

Any advice?

Thanks!

You can try Going into your blackberry under the options tab, advanced options, Service books. Delete anything that doesnt say desktop and dial *228 again. This will bring your providers service books back down to the device. If you delete any of the desktop ones you will need to have them pushed from the BES.

Are you sure that Verizon didn't inadvertently remove the BB Data Plan form your line when you changed the numbers?
This happens more than you'd imagine.
I would definitely verify with them that you still have the BES data plan.

What is the signal status on the device ... 1x, 1X, 1xev, or 1XEV ?

with verizon try *22899.. you will know when it happens because all of the verizon specific icons show up. You can also repush your BES books as well.
