I have the data plan and I also have Linksys wireless at home. When I'm using my phone at home it says Linksys, so if I'm browsing or on facebook is it pulling from the Linksys. I guess what I'm asking is will it use a hot spot first before it uses up my data from att. I hope I'm making sense.

Been asked many times before, so I guess you didn't search.

If it is connected to WiFi, you are most likely using WiFi data and not your ATT data.

I noticed that when I'm picking up Wi-Fi it puts name of the network at the top of the screen after your provider name:
