Hey guys,

I'm running an ATT 8300 with 4.5.0.42 and I'm have one remaining issue - anytime I open the camera or the video recorder the device totally freezes and needs a soft reset to fix. Anyone run into this? Any ideas?

I have been running it for a couple of hours here and I haven't run into this issue. I have used both camera and recorder.

I used a AT&T 8300 with .42 and ran into no such problem with the camera

I'd double-check that your SD card is properly seated and formatted, and that the folder your camera points to for saving still exists.

May even need to reformat your SD card.

Tried all of these suggestions. Reseated and then tried reformatting. Super-strange.
ANy other suggestions out there? I'm thinking of truly blowing the OS away and reinstalling in place of upgrading.

blew it away once - kaput
blew it away a 2nd time -bueno

I also cleaned the lens and blew some air in there while doing the 2nd wipe, so i guess it could have been something physical.

Anyways, thanks for all your help. It is greatly appreciated
