hey i just got a curve from the at and t store and they transfered all my numbers but theyre all under work, and since most if not all the numbers are mobile and not work numbers id like to have them properly labeled.

is there a way to take the work number copy it to mobile number and delete the work field quickly and effeciently?

about the only thing you can do is sync with Outlook and do it on the PC. There is no easy way of doing that on the device except individually. Sorry.

No. If you synch and edit on the PC, when you synch again, it will update the phone, not create duplicates.

You could also sync to am ASCII file, import it into excel and rename the columns... then export the file back to an ASCII file and re-sync it with your berry. It may be more involved, but there is a way to do it without editing every number on your phone or in outlook.

I've never had to do that when updating contacts via Outlook.
