Just checked that listing, and the seller has ended bidding "because of an error in the lisitng."

So dumb that we can't just order the Curve from o2 unlocked. If we're willing to pay $$$, it shouldn't be a problem. Then again that would just be to easy! I remember when the Treo's were hot you could purchase them unlocked directly through palm. I smell a marketing campaign coming on. Not that it has anything to do with this, but AT&T released a statement saying that the iphone will not be presold, first come first serve basis. Looks like there taking the Playstation 3 stance. I hope they don't pull that crap with the Curve and ship like 5 to each store a week to cause panic and hype!

Will use GSMPHONESOURCE once it arrives and I get the IMEI. The way I figure it if I were to get Cingy 8300 I am looking at 399 +200 early cancelation and I am waiting until 5/24. I will spend 770 and have now on tmobile. works for me. Let us see if it can be unlocked.

Sorry if this is a duplicate .... In the UK if you get n O2 phone (regardless of handset type) they will accept the sim card of any operator ie T-Mobile Voda Orange etc.
Hope it helps a few of you

I hope for your sake this wasn't from scancom's listings:

It says something like shipped when in stock, within 30 days! It'll most likely be available from AT&T by then for much much less.
Every Curve listing has been pulled...

Have you bothered to tell that to O2?

^^ well, let them know that if they can reliably deliver the 8300 at a good price they may have more customers here on this forum.

If you go to ebay.co.uk there is a listing for O2 Blackberry curve locked to O2. buy it now price is 317 pounds with shipping to USA costing another 70 pounds.the seller warns that it is sim locked to O2 and will not accept returns if you are not able to unlock. the question is who would be able to unlock it now? doesnt the phone have to be available before unlock codes are released?

I dont think RIM ever released a new model in europe before US or Canada.Whats going on here? The US carriers have not even announced a release date. Is it possible for AT&T to release it May 24th as per rumors without even acknowleging the model exists???

I would argue that the price is not good but I bought it. I have contacted two unlockers and they both said they could unlock it. My reason for buying is that my unlocked Pearl is on its last legs.
Do not want to have to load unload data and

I WANT A NEW TOY.
