So far so good, looks to be a bit faster than that of the telstra version. Also, no new themes in this package.

I confirm that this corrects the Bluetooth synch issues that the last Telstra version had!

Haven't been able to load the Today theme yet but am still working on it.

Have Dimension Today running now as well - it is MUCH quicker than on the Telstra software especially when using # to switch ringer profiles.

Id like to see after a few days if you are getting the memory leak issue all other OS's have.

I have vzw...i fried one bb yesterday by putting teslus software on it. I am told that if I load this software on my vzw bb it could either fry the board OR it wont get signal for the prl's and codes are different and it wont recognize vzw towers and shit....like the *228 thing wont work and yeah....IF I LOAD THIS ON MY VZW BLACKBERRY WILL IT WORK JUST LIKE IT DOES NOW? I am confused. Ppl on here do it but everyone tells me in perseon it shouldn't be done. Please explain you ppl that understand this techincal stuff.

anyone telling you that you can't load an OS other than VZW's, well, they are WRONG! Any OS working on a CDMA platform, made for the 7130E will work, regardless of the carrier it was made for.

You guys that are using this, are you seeing your available memory go down each day? Just want to see if this still has the memory leak.

It should be noted though that OS updates do not do anything to the PRL of the device. This is controlled by the carrier.

My Notes:
1. 24 hour time is now an option!
2. Vodafone is now gray and red instead of brown and red. I like it even more than before.
3. Today themes did not load properly, but I am not worried because I wasn't using them anyway.
4. As reported by others, BT sync is back working, which makes me happy in the pants.

alright, so I'm on day 5 without any reboots and I don't think there is a memory leak - even though I'm not so certain I experienced it with the Telstra firmware.

the Today theme is working fine and fast (main screen actually updates now without needing to be synched) and my ONLY complaint so far is that it can take 4 or 5 seconds for the profile to change when I hold the # key.

It would be my personal preference that you would see the Today theme when the handset is keylocked but hey, you can't win em all.

I had an 8700c & my new 7130e seems very slow. It take a few seconds to get me in after putting in the password. It also seems to freeze for a second or two now & then, when it is sending receiving information. I don't recall my 8700c ever doing this. I have the updated OS 4.1.0.387. Is this normal?

If you have this version of the OS loaded, how would you go about loading another BlackBerry.alx file (in order to get the Zen theme)?

I also noticed that the free space would fluctuate from about 4MB to 40MB. I reloaded the OS, and it seems to have done the trick, but we'll see how things go in the next few days.
