is this any better than the original one or ?
descriptions says 2650mah, 1200 more than the original
would anyone recommend? since it seems to be of the same size as the original and doesn't require swaping the backdoor for a bigger one

Don't do it. Aftermarket batteries other than Seidio run a massive risk of damage to the phone.

Check this one out by Mungen. It's not a huge difference as it's 1500 MAh, but it's the same size as the original. Mungen makes a very good product. This is the only battery I've used for a long while now and it's great. Gives me a full day which is all I need.
