Ok. See my review for .415 above. From what I can tell they are pretty much the same. .421 is still missing the thumbnail options, and the contact alert sounds for messages are not played for sms / mms, etc., they are only played for emails.

OS v .421 does have the new BBM (5.0.0.54)... but the new BBM is also avail as OTA upgrade.

Great work on listing the fixes and issues. I will be returning to the Blackberry fold from a long, LONG departure and it seems I've got a LOT to learn & a lot to enjoy with profiles!

PS: Can the new Profile settings be timed in OS 5 (any iteration)? I'm coming from iPhone (no profiles except sound/vibrate), S60 (almost equal not quite), and OSE (SonyEricsson feature phone from eons ago). On S60 3rd party apps enabled Profiles to be either a) timed, b) changed when in a particular coverage area (tower id of the network), or some other method I forgot. I'd LOVE for this to come to BB yet natively.

I'm now at .423 - Again, pretty much the same as .421 / .415. As of right now I haven't tested SMS / MMS sounds, because all my friends are asleep, and I can't get any of them to txt me. I'll follow up with that tomorrow though.

As of right now, I'm calling .423 the current leader, as there hasn't been anything broken since .421, and the battery life seems improved to me in this build.

Since it seems like RIM has gotten their act together, and fixed quite a few issues permanently, I'm going to start the "Issues" over here:

1. SMS / MMS not using Contact Alert Sound (Will Confirm Tomorrow)
2. No setting to change the thumbnail per row count

I think that's all I can find.

Quick update:

1. Contact Alerts are NOT played for SMS / MMS, etc. They are only played for EMail and Phone Calls.

2. Battery Life seems very much improved.

3. Data Speeds noticeably faster.

Same SMS issue where custom tones aren't played.

Still no Thumbnail option.
