my bill has been cut off BUT i can connected to the wifi! on my bb bold 9900
the thing is i had hardware damaged error 102 cos of water damaged now its back on im connected to my wifi BUT only twitter and facebook work! and not my BBM (blackberry internet service) says not connected ive tried everything!!

does this meen cos of my hardware damaged it will never work again? HELP PLEASE!!!!! :(

BBM, email, etc. do not work because you do not have a BB data plan.

And if the device has water damage many things can happen over time. In most cases, it is best to replace the device rather than deal with a multitude of problems.

The fact that *some* non-RIM data services still work over WiFi (twitter, Facebook) indicates that although you no longer have a legit BlackBerry data plan the old service books are still on your device. That's why they still work. But BBM requires a connection to RIM's infrastructure so you're out of luck on that.

it is legit because its on a orange contract , so lets say i paid my bill off today would my data plan for BBM update its self? or will i not have any luck what so ever and best to get a new blackberry?

Yes. You need to pay your bill. Your data services will not work without an ACTIVE BlackBerry Data Plan.
