Our event logs are full of these warning messages ("[BIPPeClient]::Connect: Error calling host" and "[BIPP] Connection Failed") and I am currently unable to activate new devices (devices hang on 40-50%) and it appears Desktop [Sync] service is not working (no address book, tasks, or memopad entries sync). We recently had an issue with our SRP ID and our BES service with RIM stopped and we had to re-enter our SRP ID. Since this event, we have had this problem and event log messages. Email and calendar working fine.

Are any BlackBerry services not running? Like the Sync Service?

Try restarting your BES ... also, what BES Version & SP are you running; what mail platform?

Sync Service is running and all other Blackberry services are running. We are using BES 4.1.3 on Exchange. I believe the server has restarted since this issue but i will try again. Thanks
