Ok so if you let the battery drain below 20 % a few times the LI battery will not recover and you will loose power quick. Do not buy a non OEM Blackberry battery.

Configuring connections for internet use require a blackberry data plan from your carrier.
If you do not have one then the phone is just that, only a phone

It seems problem is on the phone, not in a battery. Try reinstalling operating system or do master reset.
