I'm new here and have a question after install of 4.7.0.151 software on my storm 9530 on verizon. OK so I did an install as instructed. Everything seems to go great during my install. Right after the install i was setting everything up and all the sudden i get "updating" on white screen and phone restart. Came back up and everything look to be normal. Only problem is that when I'm in setup folder and flip my phone to change screen layout, when it dose flip screen its not smooth anymore. it looks like during transition from horizontal to vertical screen there are lines flashing during flipping to its position. Looks like its lacking something. I did this couple times and its always dose it. I did switch back to 4.7.0.148 and the lines are gone. Have any one here experience that on the software ?? Is this why that version have not been approve to be released for all BB users.
P.S.
Also is there is a way to do a clean software install by erasing all the files on the phone and bringing the phone back to manufactures out of the box stage and then do new system load ?
I should point out that I've seen this too, but not every time I flip the device. Can't say for sure, but I would say that it's less that 5% of the time. I've always chalked it up to the speed at which I'm flipping it and the number of running apps.
That said, I ignore it. I think of it as being like a computer screen getting redrawn - most of the time it's flawless but if you pay attention, you'll see glitches from time to time.
