Hello all - it seems to me that, eventually, support for UMA/GAN will be available on the Bold once the OS and Carriers catch up to each other.

It allows smartphones that are Wi-Fi capable to make GSM phone calls over Wi-Fi networks.
The article then lists 4 possible Wi-Fi phones including the 9000, 8120, 8320, and 8820 models. (Perhaps there needs to be a 9020 to make this list complete). Of course the new KickStart/Pearl is also UMA compatible. I believe that model is 8220. The units run the identical operating system to the Bold...
