What does it show at the top right of the screen? gprs, GPRS, edge, EDGE or GSM? And it is case sensitive.

OK. That does nothing for a BlackBerry. If you want e-mail you MUST have a BlackBerry Data Plan

Sith - just an FYI - virtually 100% of the time it shows "Data Connection Refused" it means there is no BlackBerry Data Plan on the account.

You need to be paying for the blackberry plan. The medianet plan will NOT work. The blackberry plan is 30 bucks I believe.

if you don't plan on getting a BB Plan added anytime soon, you can disable the annoying message.

Mftp

Welcome to BlackBerry Forums.

This thread was about Data Connection refused and you replied into it (instead of starting a new thread).

MySpace has been discussed many, many times. I used the "search" feature and found a bunch of hits on Myspace including this one http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...ace-pearl.html

Good luck.

How's that for a thread hijack? What does this have to do with the thread matter at hand?

I got into big, big trouble with another poster for using the phrase thread hijack. He went to Guess and complained about me... I have to be very careful when stating the obvious.
