I have a T-Mobile 8320 and have used it on Rogers for a while both with voice and data/Wi-Fi. I signed up for Rogers Home Calling Zone (UMA) which was just made available yesterday (May 6, 2008 with more info at Redirect to the right page) but the 8320 points to T-Mobile when you go to Options > Wi-Fi connections > [Menu button] > Wi-Fi Diagnostics > UMA section. Does anyone know if this can be changed so it will work with Rogers?

The Blackberry 8120 is what Rogers will offer but they don't have it on their website yet. I don't want a Pearl (had one already and couldn't get used to Sure Type) so if this doesn't work, I'll cancel.

P.S. I also got the $100 1GB plan that was available yesterday also.

umm i dont think that it will be available for the 8320 right now... i'm not 100% but i believe its a service book that lets you call via UMA... you could call rogers on it and ask the BB data tech support... but i wouldnt hold my breathe

its Rogers - they take their sweet time. They are introducing the iPhone at the end of the year so based on that - IF they get the 8320, I can only assume it'll be next year.

nah, IF they release the 8320, it'll be soon... if they dont then you can count on them being one of the first carriers to get the 9000 series (i'm soooo happy about that fact, the day its releases i will be there to buy it )

If someone can figure out how to change the UNC address, the security gateway address and get the proper certificates, it can be done. However, nobody has been able to figure out to change the addresses.
