Default BBToday

Please Login to Remove!

try BBToday

Note: you may have to delete the older version manually before installing the newer version.

I applied the same fix as others did for BBWeather to BBToday.

Weather should work now...

Thanks Jason. Works like a charm. I am whole again.

Mods, can we either change the title to add bbToday to this thread or make a sticky separately for bbToday? I am sure that many folks would appreciate it if they would not have to search around in the threads for the link.

Thanks Jason!
I had to manually delete the 1.5 version of BBToday before the 1.6 version would work. But, it works like it's supposed to now. Thank you very much for this fix!

No, it's an application called BBToday. Gives you a startup screen with weather, email information, stocks, task info, etc. You can give it a try. The link is in the first post of this thread.

Stock quotes do not work for me either at the moment. Not sure what is wrong with them.

If I get a chance I will look into this as well but I am going to be quite busy for the next few weeks...

Hey, wondering if you guys have a screenshot of how this looks? My 8300 is dead, waiting on an 8320 right now -- but this might be the solution I've been looking for (as I'm not happy with the Today Screen style themes).

Thanks!

I never made any changes to the settings since I first go the original to work about a year ago. I just installed this new version on top of the existing one. Here's what I have.

- I am on BES
- Disable MDS Proxy is UNCHECKED
- TCP setting
APN: wap.cingular
Username for APN: [email address]
Password: CINGULAR1

Check the form for your specific carrier's TCP setting. Hope that helps.

installed it and looks good. when i click on object - i.e. email or call log the app freezes up. I've done a battery pull but still does this. Am I supposed to be able to click on a particular plug in to show me an email or take me to an event in my calender?

I've had an older version on my 8703 for awhile now and if you touch a button while in BBToday, it would always freeze up. I just upgraded to the latest and still get a lockup if you touch a button. You have to wait 3-4 minutes and then...

Uncaught exception Application bbtoday(105) is not responding; process terminated.
