Default New to Blackberry, Need Help Please

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

The Storm is my first Blackberry and while I'm starting to get the hang of it, there's a couple of things I don't know how to do.

1) You know when you attach a photo to the people in your contact list?
The photo appears when they call you?
How do I make the photo bigger?
When I get a call from someone with a photo, it's a very small picture, is there a way to make it better?

2) My Storm didn't come with MSN messenger installed, only Yahoo and Gmail.
How do I get this on the phone?

3) How do I get YOUTUBE in a designated application slot?
Currently, I just go to browser and select it from favorites.

4) The Telus salesman told me this phone works all over the world, is there anything I have to do to enable this?

Let's say I get on a plane in Toronto and switch planes in Frankfurt, can I just call anywhere I want from Frankfurt?
Do I need to dial any special numbers first or get my carrier to enable this funtion?

Sorry if some of these are stupid questions, but I'm new to blackberry and new to this type of phone.

I appreciate your help.

Thanks
C

I'll do my best

"How do I make the photo bigger?"
there is no way to do this without some aftermarket software (I can't remember the name)

"My Storm didn't come with MSN messenger"
Goto http://mobile.blackberry.com and search through the IM section and you will find it there.

"How do I get YOUTUBE in a designated application slot"
Google release a Youtube app for the Storm. visit http://m.google.com with your Storm and download it, its an OTA file

"this phone works all over the world, is there anything I have to do to enable this?
"
You will need a GSM Sim card for the phone to work in other parts of the world. I'm not sure if you have to contact Telus for one, but I've read that people purchase a prepaid sim card while in another country and use that rather than pay roaming charges...
