Default connecting style to computer

Please Login to Remove!

I am curious if there is any other way to connect my style to my PC to add music, etc if I do not have internet access on my PC. Is there a disk I can get or an app that will allow me to transfer data from PC to bb, thanks for the help and info

I'm missing something in your question. Is the problem you cannot download and install Desktop Manager?

Did you get a CD with the BlackBerry when you acquired it? If so, you will be able to install desktop manager on your PC from the disc.

After that, take a look at Synchronize your music from your computer to your device using BlackBerry Media Sync - User Guide - BlackBerry Curve 9300 Smartphone - 5.0.

Also, once you have the drivers installed and you are able to connect to the BlackBerry, you can just enable and use mass storage mode to drag and drop files to the media card, if you desire.

Hello, sorry I was unclear. You are correct, I can not download and install becausw I have no internet. The only disk it came with was a mini disk "Blackberry User Tools" which only directs me to the website to download...ugh, is there any other option for me?

Desktop Manager (or Desktop Software) isn't on the disk? (I really don't know. I haven't looked at the disk that comes with a BlackBerry since my first BlackBerry years ago. But I'm surprised if it isn't on there.)

Sadly it is not on the disk I have, it says to get desktop mgr to log on to blackberry.com/desktopmanager to download the software and offers no other option for the software, it also tells me the same thing in my manual...

Hmmm. That stinks.

I think your only other solution is to remove your media card from the BlackBerry and copy your music to the media card on the computer, then replace the media card in the BlackBerry.

Yes, all the new BB's do not come with desktop manager anymore. I guess they figure you need internet to get software updates anyway so that's part of thier reason.

Thanks for the confirmation. I guess I should have realized this. Still, part of me thinks it stinks.
