Photos missing in backup

Hi,
please help me with my problem...
After complete backup of BlackBerry 9800 using Desktop software, wiping device (because of switching to another's provider BES) and restoring from backup again using Desktop Software, photos are missing in device.
When looking into backup using Desktop Software, there is 0 next to Content Store item. There is no memory card in the phone so photos were definitely located in internal memory.
Strange thing is that same backup/wipe/restore procedure on another device included photos as well. But these other devices were 9780.
Are missing photos in backup related to different devices or rather to some device settings? Does ecrypition of internal memory affect backing up photos anyhow?
I am a little bit suprised - I thought that full backup includes everything important...
