I successfully installed the Tmobo IM on the 7520 but upon login of any IM client, my BB hard resets. It's not working for me......has any other 7520 owners get this to work?

Make sure you have the latest version of the DM and Handheld software (also available at the tmobile website). You wil need to fresh install the whole handheld OS and disable other messenger software that you may have previously installed.

eMSN is a decent program but it has horrible usability...you have to click like 3 or 4 times on the wheel to send a message...that's bad for IM, might was well send an email!

and it doesn't even alert you to incoming messages...no buzz or ring or anything...is there a way to set this up?

I just installed tmo's IM software on a 7520 and I too have that issue where it reboots itself when I try to login. My Blackberry OS is v4.0.2.54 off of Nextel's site. tmo is using v4.0.2.49. How safe is it to install another provider's OS?

I'm gonna upgrade my DM now to see if that resolves the reboot problem.
