You're right Ritsuke. I may have to reform my thinking/routine.

Missing sync and pocketmac both suck. If you value your data you will make frequent backups and compare file sizes. Contacts and calendar events just disappear. RIM knows this and could care less. I think Pocketmac is the less complicated of the two, IMHO. But everytime I sync something screws up or goes missing.

RIM seems to have their egos set on the iPhone but they will never get there until they realize they need MAC SPECIFIC software.

This is from a "specialist" at RIM, "I have confirmed that there is no external Beta program at this time. I have added your name to a list of interested parties if/when an external program opens."

sesme - Does Missing sync and pocketmac have conflict resolution options like BB Desktop Manager? It sounds like your handheld device is overriding your desktop or visa versa.

Is it actually possible to use both syncing applications or is that asking for problems?

Default does google sync work with blackberrys outside of the U.S., say China?

does google sync work with phones only in the U.S.? to register, i have to enter in my blackberry phone with a "+1" prefix, meaning a U.S. number.

would be a major bummer if this only worked for U.S. phones

You can manually download Google mobile applications by visiting Google Mobile from your BB. The applications don't work via WiFi so you need a data plan in order for them to work.
