Default Considering Upgrading to 7520 from 7510

Please Login to Remove!

Anyone has any opinions on this - really considering this but was curious to know is it as quick as a SIM card swap from the 7510 in order to keep all my data and setup EXACTLY the same. Also I have backed up the device via the desktop manager. Let me know what the deal is, thanks.

Also guys just wondering for the guys who have the new browser (after the upgraded software) is it any better than REQWireless? Let me know thanks in advance

Yes should be just a sim card switch. I love the new browser. I have the requireless too and I never use it anymore at all.

I was going to purchase the reqwireless browser until I updated my blackberry browser; it is great, just as fast as reqwireless, all for free!! I deleted reqwireless soon after.

The benefit of having the BB browser along with reqwireless is now you have 2 browser you can have going simotaneously, just a thought.

The 7520 is well worth the investment.
You gain:
GPS applications
HTML Browser
More memory
Better/Brighter LCD
Improved keypad ergonomics

I debated on using Telenav (The GPS software from Nextel) for the 7520 but decided to use the trial version on a run upstate this past weekend. Since then, I have been using it to walk around parts of town I am not familiar with and man, if I may say that having GPS at your fingertips can very well be the next big thing.

Pop in 'Bars and liquor' in your current location and it will sniff out nearly every single joint in your immediate vicinty and how to get there, distance, address and phoen also included. It also have a feature to find the cheapest gas station within a max of 15 miles radius. That's having true info at your fingertips.

upgrade! it's well worth it.

The 7520 is well worth it to upgrade for all the above reasons, but to get it to have all the same data as on the 7510, make sure you sync the 7510 so your computer has everything on the blackberry. After you switch the service to the 7520, sync again and you will have a duplicate of you 7510. I think that the new browser translates pages much better than the reqwireless browser does. I purchased reqwireless and then 2 days later, the new browser icon popped up on my screen!

I really appreciate all your feedback. I actually ordered the BB7520 and I am lovin it. Just a quick question though about the GPS applications. Anyone know of a good site to DL programs?

this is the hottest forum
