Clinton wasn't running 8 years ago, Gore was. Your rationalizations aren't working, test. Better stop digging now before that hole gets even deeper.

You're obviously hell-bent on wearing that smugness as some kind of badge of honor. By all means don't let me stop you. Its often said that the measure of a man is if he is humble in victory and gracious in defeat. You obviously haven't learned that life lesson, but at least are showing your true colors.

what are you talking about, same as this year the voters wanted change. Clinton had tarnished the party & the office by lying and people wanted something different. Not hard to connect the dots why Gore did not win (even though he might have). Bush's slogan was "A new day" not hard to see what was meant by that.

Dallas, i'm not going to get personal with you. call me what you want.

I find it fascinating to look at the different definitions of "victim.". Both parties -- at least as exemplified on this forum -- play that card like a 2-bit whore. Boring!!!!! Let's step up the debate folks!

I am talking Presidential only. I could care less about that idiot Franken. If those people really want him let them have him. He is worse than any Micheal Moore on the planet. I think he will be an embarrassment right away and they will want him gone. Hell he couldn't even make Left wing radio work and hes an entertainer.

And I am far from claiming to be a victim here.

there is no long lasting legal battles because McCain was not even close to winning. why waste your time and money when it wasn't close.

he has never claimed to have invented the internet. and Florida in 2000 election was ripe for all kinds of legal action. The republicans in 2000 were suing as well, both sides were fighting to get all the votes they could in Florida.

Oh really

BLITZER: I want to get to some of the substance of domestic and international issues in a minute, but let's just wrap up a little bit of the politics right now.

Why should Democrats, looking at the Democratic nomination process, support you instead of Bill Bradley, a friend of yours, a former colleague in the Senate? What do you have to bring to this that he doesn't necessarily bring to this process?

GORE: Well, I will be offering -- I'll be offering my vision when my campaign begins. And it will be comprehensive and sweeping. And I hope that it will be compelling enough to draw people toward it. I feel that it will be.

But it will emerge from my dialogue with the American people. I've traveled to every part of this country during the last six years. During my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the Internet. I took the initiative in moving forward a whole range of initiatives that have proven to be important to our country's economic growth and environmental protection, improvements in our educational system.

Yep, and he was highly ridiculed, for totally and utterly overstating his involvement - years ago.
