Hey, I bought an unlocked 8520 and put a vodafone simcard in it, it worked fine for a bit then dropped signal i tried the battery pull but it didnt work when i look at setting it goes onto Tmobile or orange, I set it manually to vodafone but it seems to make it worse i have to turn the handset off and back on again to get signal for about 5 mins. I have wiped the handheld and it is still the same. any ideas? i have got v4.6.1.272 (platform 4.2.0.118) is that correct?

yep mine has much poorer signal compared to my nokia 5800 (t-mob), but better than sony ericsson w890. i was kinda hoping it would be better too...

not too worried by this as push email works as soon as you get decent signal & there is the wifi, ofcourse.
