Default Curve 8900 or Bold 9700?

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys, I just bought the Curve 8900 a couple of weeks ago but my eyes now are on the newest Bold 9700 which I'm loving its beauty and everything except the trackpad that makes it horrible. So anyway, I'm wondering which of the two is the best in everything or what's the difference between them.

Your opinions please?

I think spec wise the two devices should be more or less the same. Both have a great screen, 3.2MP camera with auto focus, similar or even same amount of storage space (memory).

I think the primary difference is trackball vs. trackpad, the keyboard, and the 9700 has 3G capability.

Otherwise the two devices are the best in everything they do because experience is dependent on the user - that's you!

I heard that the trackpad could get damaged so easily than the trackball so I'm not really sure about it.

How could the trackpad get damaged easily?

I get many calls in my line of business about trackball issues, I have not heard anything yet with the trackpad.

The only upside to the trackpad is that it wont get dirty, as the track balls do. But they do seem very flimsy

I guess I'll be getting the new bold then. Shall I go for it and take my decision now or wait a bit longer?

The trackpad is fantastic. Not flimsy at all. And, as said, won't get dirty and malfunction like the trackball. I previously had an 8900.

I am a sucker for the newest phones, plus I like the other features on the Bold.
