I've just discovered that my 9780 displays more than just entries from my Contacts when I start typing in the To box of a new email - it also displays the names of people I've previously sent emails to.

I guess it could be useful, but a few of the entries are annoying me. They're people I sent one email to, and will never send another, and they have very similar names to people I send a lot of emails to. Can I get rid of specific "recent contacts" from this list?

And some of them are from many months ago, from before I even got this phone. The original email is no longer even on the phone, and has been archived in Outlook. Do they expire after a certain amount of time?

Quick searching around and I don't see anything documented. I doubt that if there is a limit that it would be based on time; more like cache size, if there is a limit. But obviously it would seem as if there is no limit.

You can disable it in options, if you want.
