That's strange, some people are able to download it and some aren't. It says the beta is closed and it gives me the option to send a text to my phone when there is an available slot..

No one has a direct link?

Those using Opera Mini will get access to the "onesearch" feature shortly (when it go! goes live?) as it will replace google as the default search.

Just curious. Perhaps logging in to Yahoo wap page first will open the door to you for download? (Of course, unless you've tried that already...)

Looks like the ones who are being told Beta is closed are those with the 8100's. People with the 7130 are seem to be getting the message that their device is not supported, and those with 8700 can install just fine.

Anyone with a 8100 or 7130 get this installed?

Don't think that will change until you have a WiFi BB. I think its usefull. Must be a way for it update each day. Note the weather app will be like BB Weather where you can add locales. Also there is an option under Settings called Mail Connection - You can have a mobile connection to your Yahoo Mail aCoount for reading and writing emails on the go. I just changed it to yes. See what that does.

I loaded it on my 8700g with TMO service. It looks nice with cool icons / color schema.

1) However, once I logged in, how do I log off?
2) How can I change my "pre-populate" contents from US (English) to, for example, Taiwan or Hong kong, WITHOUT having a master reset?
3) When I selected the content as "Taiwan" or "Hong Kong" without logging in, I did not really see the application populate the contents from those sites. Any ideas?

The Yahoo! Go email interface is better (more convenient, more useable) than the wap page, but not better than internet email on the BB, in my opinion. Also, no way I can see to turn off email delete confirm.

Just downloaded this and successfully installed on my 8700c. I've used "My Yahoo" as my browser homepage for years, so thought this sounded good. Slick interface, and LOTS of data available, but rather cumbersome in my opinion, and although I logged in, it seemed to bring in NOTHING from my longstanding yahoo account.

I found another BB app a while back that I like a lot more. Organized better and easier to access. News, weather and sports are free and that's basically what I use. You can get "expanded" with a lot more for $6.99/month, but the 411, movie times, etc are best done (free) with the fabulous Berry411 app, but I really like this one for the free news, weather and sports.

I went to the Yahoo Go site, there is the option there to have a text sent to your device. I got it successfully, but I'm having reservations about installing it. Mostly because it's so new and my BB 7130c is working perfectly now.

If gives you a choice as to where it's installed. Any suggestions as to a certain folder or location to install to, or just use the default?

Thanks.

So far I like it. I played with the Flickr photos. Updates nicely.
Weather is customizable with extended forcasts. Nice graphics. Will look at mail and news later.
