Reckon the following Release Notes quote negates the need to to download the .cod file and create/push the Software Configuration to the handhelds?
"In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP3, the BlackBerry Enterprise Server uses a SQL script to add updated Daylight Saving Time (DST) information to a new database table called SyncDeviceConfig. The BlackBerry Synchronization Service then synchronizes the time zone information from the database table with BlackBerry devices."
We are going to apply sp3 soon for the added features, but want to know if hotfix 3 (for DST) is built into sp3? if not then does that mean we still have to apply hotfix 3 and then sp3.
The release notes state that sp3 has enahncements for DST but its not clear if that means hotfix is built into sp3

Hotfix 3 is for Service Pack 2. Service Pack 3 supercedes all previous Service Packs and Hotfixes. I believe by definition SP3 includes the hotfixes from SP2.
yep we run domino as well and it states the DST part for sp3 is for devices with 4.2 code so its an enhancement which implies that the hotfix 3 is still required?
