Does anyone know if there's a way to reassign the function of the "browser" button on the 7100t? It's the button between the two dedicated phone buttons. It would be great if it can be reassigned as a shortcut to the Messages screen instead of the browser.

I agree, but don't think it's possible. It's often referred to as the "convenience key," if you want do run a few searches.
