Got CV put on my Bold today. Was the funniest thing; I went to my local ATT store to have them do it. Eight reps in the store, so I pull out my Bold. I become God. They all surround me ooh-ing and ahh-ing. Other customers were looking at them like... WTF. Then they called the manager from in the back and he added the CV to my account. Funny as hell the way they were acting. They all claimed they had not seen one before.

@kaiso - Did they add CV without an additional package or cost beyond the BB plan?

C'mon! What's the secret sequence of words to get this added to an AT&T account?

All they did was remove my BIS then add the CV to the plan and replace my BIS. No additional cost. It seems as though it is added as part of the package so when it was printed out, it came out as CV included. Don't know the "code" for it but they were able to do it. The manager at the store (he's pretty cool) knew what to do. I heard him telling the other rep to "add all ones" when he was putting it in. (Whatever "ones" mean)

I went into my usual at&t store today, and was told "No sir, it can't be done until the Bold is released by at&t, and technically I can't even do anything with your phone in our system." - from the store manager. So, I called another at&t store in my area, and they had some bad info, but were more than happy to get hands on with the phone, in exchange for looking at my account.

I gave them the same info that kaiso has provided, and what do you know, 15 minutes later I had BIS and CV on my phone at no additional charge.

I went into my local store the other day to get a data card and got the same thing. Pulled out the Bold and they all crowded around and took turns checking it out.

Any update on getting CV on the Bold on AT&T since it is now officially available?

I have had reps try re-adding the BB data plan and it didn't help me. I still get prompted to get the right data plan.

Have them remove your BIS, add CV, then replace your BIS. It has worked for others. See posts 29 & 30 in this thread.

What about with an Enterprise plan? Doing what you mentioned didn't help to get CV working.

I just spoke with several people at AT&T customer service. They kept passing me on to moe technical people to try to figure this out. In the end, I came away with the same results info that Scooters got. If you want tethering and CV with BES, you need:

Plan TR93- Blackberry Enterpise + Cellular Video + Teathered $70

$70. Which is basically an additional $10 for the CV. Bummer.

Mine works today. Didn't work yesterday (pre-release date). Not sure if that had anything to do with it, but it works flawlessly today and is pretty cool feature.

I have a Bold and the CV did not work either.
I called ATT and they said that my $29.99 BIS data plan was an older plan that required an upgrade to a coded one that contains the CV. She took the old plan off, and placed the new plan on and it works. The cost did go up though to $30.
An increase of .01 which I thought was worth it.
