Just curious... I know that not all AT&T stores hold strict to the official release dates. So I'm wondering if anyone's been able to get their grubby paws on one yet.

I just spoke with a store up here (Northeastern Ohio, Cleveland area), and they said they were expecting to get them today, but they didn't.

I heard a rumor that Best Buy had sold some by accident and they were told to immediately stop. Not sure if it was web or a specific store. Like I said it is an unconfirmed rumor. Can anyone here confirm it?

Many stores got them in today and started selling them. They will be available in a lot of corporate stores on Sunday.

Yes, we received our TA (technical acceptance) unit on Monday, the 27th of October. I have a very bad picture of it in another thread about the 8900.
If we just got this, I would suspect we are only a few days away from the rollout...

As for me, I go to Duke and called pretty much everyone in Central NC today. No dice. Lots of stores actually said they weren't even sure if they'd receive theirs by the 4th.

Best Buy said no - not until Tuesday... $349.00 with 2 yr. contract.
At&t store in major mall - nada...

I'm in SoCal. I think the store only had a few phones, we got three and I saw one other person buy one and there were a few people that came in and then left upset, but don't know if it was because of the Bold or not. We got there right when they opened.
