Please elaborate. Explain your reasons why because I am soon getting on the same wagon.

Its nice too. But slower, smaller screen and keypad is not as good. I also use an 8900. I think bold is the winner here.

^Well said HW! Between that, the speedy processor, the awesome screen, the extra onboard memory with the possibility of adding another 16GB via microSD, full Qwerty, etc...it's definitely worth it to take the plunge.
BTW, I'm digging the sig DacyJ. LOL
I considered adding this to mine until I saw yours:
On a high school math test, Chuck Norris put down "violence" as every one of the answers. He got an A+ on the test because Chuck Norris solves all his problems with violence.

I have to say, I work for a private real estate firm (I am one of the IT Support folks).
For me the jury is still out on the BlackBerry Bold. At this point I am content with telling the employee's to stick with their BlackBerry Curves (All of which are using some 8300 series variant.).
I love researching and updating my phone and learning about that sort of stuff because I actually spend time with my phone (much like my pet cats)...except the Bold doesn't like water.
But for the average Business User, I think they would be kind of frustrated right now at least with AT&T's version (as this is the only one I have used). So I am telling them to stay with their BlackBerry Curve's at least for now. I think, in the U.S., once more carriers start offering the BlackBerry Bold more users will be able to really find those little day-to-day things that power users overlook or just blowoff.
-Thoughts??

All that and you don't cite even one example of why you feel this way? What's a Curve got that the Bold doesn't, that a "power user" is going to miss?
I've used and supported almost every BB device since the 7290 (except the 8900 and Storm) and the Bold is easily the best of them all IMO. We've begun rolling them out to our users here and the feedback has been nothing but positive.

Get a room!
Seriously, other than 3g and higher res screen, what does the Bold offer teh average Curve using business person? WiFi is a non-issue for most of us because WiFi is muc better suited for a notebook or netbook configuration, and since AT&T doesn't support UMA, no real savings there.

I tether a lot so 3G is a big deal for me, and I actually use WIFI a lot as well but just as a matter of convenience (Viigo refreshes REALLY fast over a T3!). Beyond that, the screen, the keyboard, and the extra internal memory (128M for apps) are all a big improvement imo. I think it's got a faster processor too, no?
OS 4.6 is pretty slick too.

This has been discussed ad nauseum. There are many small improvements (and big, such as double the processing power and RAM). 1 GB internal storage. GPS/WIFI/3G in one device. Much, much better browser. External SD card slot. Better call quality. Best (IMO) keyboard to date. MUCH snappier and quicker response due to the processor and memory.
I'm sure there are plenty of things I'm forgetting. Every other thread should contain some information of the improvements the Bold has over the Curve 8300 series. The "3g and higher res screen" are not to be dismissed and make a huge difference in usability for me. My 8300 screen looks like a toy when I look at it now. 3G isn't just about browsing speed; it allows the business user to send/receive emails and browse while on the phone.

Don't know if it is the "Sickest Phone Ever", but it's close. I'm in the process of getting number 4. First one would over heat and turn itself off after about 10 minutes of talk time. Second one would disconnect from the network all by itself and restart also drop calls. It would also delete my service books, I would have to go to BlackBerry web site to download service books. Third one drop calls and would lock up, I would have to do battery pull. Number 4 is suppose to be here today, it is re-furbished. If this one doesn't work AT&T tells me I can change to a different model, if that is the case I'm going back to the 8310 unless AT&T gets the 8900. Come AT&T/ RIM fix this thing. My two cents.

I disagree, many do demand wifi. Wifi its still very useful when you're in a poor reception area and need access to email, bb messenger, internet ect. Wifi is a deal breaker for most. I cant ever imagine myself without a wifi enabled phone ever again.

This is my first WiFi phone and until now I thought it was pointless. I can't imagine not having it now.
