When I try and use Desktop Manager to back up my Blackberry it is not allowing me to. The Restore/Backup tabs on the "Backup and Restore" page are both in stone color and I can't click on them.
I have tried clicking options and connection 'Options' in the top right hand corner of the DTM window and selecting 'Connection options' and selecting USB but this does not seem to help me.
When I click on the 'Advanced' tab there is a warning notice that states ' Databases that are unavailable in the list have been configured for wireless synchronization or wireless backup and are read-only. You cannot restor or clear them
I think that a setting might have been changed either on the handset or the PC somewhere but I'm unsure of what?
I'm having a similar problem. Opening Desktop Manager just about every application has the 'start' button faded and won't start. I thought it was a connection issue, as it shows 'disconnected', but it is connected and windows explorer can see the BB connected. The 'Connections' option in 'Options' is hardly an option - it offers USB or none. Really frustrating.
I am using the latest version on Desktop Manager. Yes, it was working find and I don't think I've done anything different this time to make it dysfunctional.
