My friend has Sprint and he, a lot of times, is unable to reach me. When he dials my number, there is long silence. I also used to have this problem calling my Tmo friends when I used to have Sprint. It's also vice versa I have to try 3 or 4 x before getting through.

Also when I call other people, like my friend w/ Tmobile, some times it rings normal like a normal phone, 50% of the time it rings like a car honking... (REALLY annoying sound) and 15% of the time that same car honk sound rings CONSTANT instead of ring-ring-ring.. its RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING never ending.. so I hang up and dial again. This seems really cheap. Whats going on here?? It does it no matter what phone I use w/ tmobile.

I've had Tmobile for years, and BB with them for a little over a year, and have never had any of the problems you seem to be experiencing.

I havent experienced those problems either! I have with other carriers though. But I don't do a lot phone calls mostly text and email. I may have to do a lot of calling for a week or two and see if I can't replicate myself

Been with Tmobile for about 6 years now and have never come across that problem. I guess you are lucky?

I have come across that problem, but it is rare. It happens around rush hour where I live, Kansas. Too many folks connected at once maybe.

Your friends are having a good time with you it sounds like--be pleased that you have such fun friends. Or don't call them.

Seriously, though, never had those problems here in 'Bama with Tmobile. Maybe you need to get out of the boonies up there in Mass?

I've been a loyal customer with T-Mobile since they first started.

Haven't really had much issues but I do know what you are talking about. I hard this problem once, and it was after I got a blackberry (not immediatly). But it was an odd problem. This "dead" air problem you are talking about, I would get when calling people. But, it was only Nextel (iDEN) customers. 50% of my calls to iDEN customers, I would just get dead air, no ring tone at all. It was very very annoying. I called, spoke with techinically support, they created a ticket and a few days later, the problem was gone. I did have to spend hours on the phone but the problem was resolved.

Very weird issue.

I've had problems a few times not being able to connect - I assume it was due to high call volumes and the airwaves plugged up. I did have the problem once to the degree you mentioned, but my friends and family also had the same problems and it cleared up the next day, so I chalk it up to a system glitch. They've been great otherwise.

*grin* I'm in Mass, and T-mo works fine here. Though it does indeed feel like the boonies, nobody up here knows how to make a proper pulled pork bbq sandwich. They drown all their bbq in tomato-based sauce
