Lightbulb Official Yesterberry Thread (Streaming Web App)

Please Login to Remove!

Hello, folks! Long time lurker here, and creator of Yesterberry.com. After recently being featured at BerryReview, BlackBerryCool, BBerryBlog, and other websites, I thought I was long overdue in putting up a thread here to get feedback / provide support for my little project. For those who aren't familiar with it, here's a quick overview:

Yesterberry is a 100% free web app designed to combine the best of old and new- the classic movies, radio, and tv shows of yesteryear with today's modern BlackBerry technology. By popular demand it expanded to included user submitted live content as well. It requires no downloading; everything is served up instantly straight to your native browser. A wifi or 3G connection is recommended.

After installing the free launcher, locate and click the new TV icon to visit Yesterberry.com:

The A/VOD (Audio / Video On Demand) section offers vintage movies, music, and shows categorized by decade and genre:

The on demand classic radio shows can be played instantly, or downloaded for later enjoyment:

The live TV and Radio section are also categorized, plus have handy search engines:

Being a free application, Yesterberry is 100% funded by donations. As an incentive, anyone donating $25 or more receives a permanent login, giving access to the following extra perks:
  • No more ads... ever, anywhere on Yesterberry
  • Voting area for choosing new channels each week
  • The Faves system, for creating your own personal favorite channel lineup
  • Instant access to your custom Faves page right from your bookmark or launcher
  • Peace of mind in knowing your support keeps Yesterberry around to enjoy

If anyone has any problems, suggestions, or submissions, I can be reached at [email address], or simply reply right here in this thread. Thanks for checking out this post, and enjoy your Yesterberry!

Folks,

I LOVE this app! Besides some great classic video & audio, there are some MAJOR tv and radio streams too. I strongly urge you to check this out!

Default Re: Official Yesterberry Thread (Streaming Web App)

I am getting a lot of "error occurred when attempting to play media" messages. I am using the Blackberry Curve 3g 9330 with OS 6. This is happening on multiple channels (Discovery, OPB, WB, and some movie channels. Is there any way to correct this?
