I have a Blackberry Curve 8310. I installed an 8GB Media Card and successfully formated it. Unfortunately, when I plug into my PC and open Blackberry Media Sync, I keep getting the error: "Mass MEdia not enabled".

When I go into "Options", "Media Card" on Balckberry, Media Card Support is
"On", but Mass Storage Mode Support is "Off" with a little red lock next to it, and there is no toggle option to enable it.

Is this software driven ?

Sounds like you got an IT policy on the device. Did you buy the device used? Is it a work device?

hai even i had same prob in my bb. some of the option in my bb had a small red lock and i could not change any more. but wen i used jl comender all went on right to me. try to use restore my bb option in dat. thnx.

If you're on a BES, removing the IT policy is not recommended. The policy will be pushed back to the BB if removed.
