I have a new 8900 and I have updated to the BB Desktop 4.7 (with the CD provided). During the switching devices process all 3rd parties software were gone. for Viigo and Google maps it was easy because I have downloaded them OTA and they work perfectly fine.

With others (Ascendo Money and Ascendo Data Vault) it is not possible to reistall them as when I am going to Application loader and direct it to specific folder with the alx file I get the message
"no additional applications designed for your device were found".

Please note that previously I had 8310 with OS4.5 and BB desktop 4.6.

Please help since I need both programs in my 8900

You should be able to re-download them from whom ever you pruchased them from. You will also need to get new activation codes for them since you switched to a new BB.

This is my problem ... I get the message when I am tryign to reload the softwere to 8900. I can not reload it again so to input the "new" activation codes...
