Just wondering at what version did RIM throw in BES support for non-RIM devices?

A user is asking if his Treo with Blackberry Connect will work with our BES Server (4.0SP3HF5)

I was using BB connect on BES 3.6 previously.

When we were using BES 2.something it was OK. When we upgraded to 4.something we had a problem. We can't enable Nokia BB Connects with more than 500 Calendar Entries. We are running Lotus Notes.

Blackberry Connect is supposed to work on BES 3.5 and up for Exchange as long as 3DES is enabled.
