To answer your question? I have not seen any like that yet.
Thanks. I'll just have to wait, I suppose .

I did find one -- right on the Plazmic downloads (on BlackBerry Extra), called Pixelistic. It uses small icons, exactly what I am looking for. I used it for a couple of hours but reverted to Dimension-Icon, because Pixelistic has a dark background everywhere with poor contrast, and crappy icons. Otherwise it's a nice, compact theme. Maybe someone can adapt it?

They have another one there, Smoothie, which I liked. Nice, clean, and light (although no small icons). The problem with that one is that it uses an some anti-aliased font everywhere, and changing the font only changes some areas, and not others (like menus, message list, etc.) I always use Millbank Tall at 7 to fit the most on the screen, and this default font (while it looks very nice) is just not compact enough. I wish they'd not restricted where the fonts can be changed. Just a thought.

this theme has the smaller icons but still 4 to a row. The smaller icons do look nice but still just 4 to the rows. Try it for a temp fix to your search.

download zip file:
http://www.mobile41.com/71xx%20Theme...%20Series4.zip

download ota:
http://www.mobile41.com/71xx%20Theme..._SLSeries4.jad

actually all of the SLSeries themes have the smaller icons i think there are 4 of them?
I made the SLSeries in preperation for my 1000th theme. It's looking like the smaller icons will be used but the icons are yet to be determined as the rest of the theme.

Install using your desktop manager.

Here’s how:

1. Download the zip file to your PC:
2. Unzip the file to a folder (name the folder).
3. Connect your Blackberry to your computer.
4. Open up Desktop Manager –> Application Loader –> Add.
5. Find the file called “ThemeName.alx” and click “OK”.
6. Find the file called "Plazmic_Theme_reader.alx" and click "ok".

After the installation finishes, you can now change your themes by going to Options (wrench icon) –> Theme.

Notes:
Icons from any third party vendors will show as they normally do, without transparency.
If you have already installed themes using plazmic_theme_reader.alx file in the past no need to re-load that file over again. Additionally after installing themes keep the theme folder in the same place or the desktop manager will produce a message saying it can't find any additional applications to install in the future if you attempt to install additional themes.
I followed these instructions on my 7290 but opening up Themes, there is still only the Default theme. The theme I downloaded was not there. Powering off the device did nothing. Any ideas?

Is your 7290 running o.s 4.1 or higher? You must be running 4.1 or higher for the themes to work.

I opened the default image and trimmed the darn thing down so things were not sticking out so much.

I am looking for LAPD theme for 8700c.
