Opera's website still doesn't say anything about the 9800 :(

@JDMJeRk: did you find an issue with the new BB Browser, or just looking to get back to old faithful?

The PHONE- calls are sounding like crap and break up frequently during any call. I'm going to cycle back down to .141 and eval at a factory setting. I upgraded to .255 within 3 days of getting the device so never got to test it at the factory OS level.

So far, I've had intermittent cutoff of audio while making video recordings, BlueTooth connectivity issues, frequent break-up's during phone call conversations and messages rearranging themselves in the list - more specifically a message that was successfully sent say yesterday will then appear under today's date header and is no longer listed under yesterday's date header

e.g. I sent a message at 3:17pm yesterday, this morning it's listed at 4:50am today, but the message header still says sent at 3:17pm on the 16th!

Anyone else notice any of these things, or am I the only one?

DL .214 that's a good build better than going to origin. that maybe a T Mobile thing though,I have not experienced any call quality problems..I have read about complaints with the bluetooth though..

Thnx tbird, will drop down to .214 and see how the performs.

By any chance have you tried to connect to DM6 or any other PC based app via BlueTooth? I had no joy with this build.

Regards,

I had to try it about three times but it finally came up. I too received the uncaught exception error message but kept going back and restarting and it finally came on line....

I tried it 8 times, it seemed to go further each time, but never finished...got the error each time. Finally deleted it - and the developers have no idea how to fix it...what a joke. I refuse to work that hard to install an application! I had the same problem on my 9700 and it's still there...

Update:

eWallet have updated their application, and it runs nice and smooth. -- I appreciate their reactivity. Missed it for two whole weeks

Viigo: My request for support (which was a question on whether they were updating to support the Torch) remains "Being processed" since 11 days now. -- I wonder if they are reflecting on the question...

BBWeather is working great for me! Version says 0.91.2. Yankees.com not working, on the other hand, is a FEATURE, not a bug! Go Rangers!

Yep, FB works as well as it does on any BB - "no wall posts available" when you get a wall post notification, but other then that it works fine.

Default Re: Applications that are currently working on the 9800

Torch 9800 / ATT
Just updated from 6.0.0.246 to 6.0.0.450 Feb. 26th

Working
- All standard apps
- Bloomberg
- Weather Channel (this was not working before my OS upgrade! Now, no problem)
- Facebook
- ESPN
- Enterprise Exchange Mail, Calendar, Contacts
- Gmail
- Google Maps

The upgrade to 6.0.0.450 resolve many internet access issues. Most notably - Connection to internet is faster. For example, getting to ESPN, or The Weather Channel. These now really pop whereas before ESPN was very pokey, and The Weather Channel actually timed out frequently. Now - Never.

My sense is that the OS upgrade also resolve touch screen sensitivity issues, and also resolved issues with change quickly between portrait and landscape orientations for the screen.

One issue as yet unresolved: Enterprise Messenger is the ONLY app not working, but I'm working with our internal IT guys as they control our BES.
