Unable to mark a recurring task as complete

Problem
When the BlackBerry device user tries to mark a recurring task as complete , the following error message appears:

Task is complete. It cannot have a recurrence.

Cause
The BlackBerry device user is trying to mark the entire task as complete, not just the current instance.

Resolution
Instead of opening the task and trying to change the status to Complete, highlight the task in the task list and select Mark completed from the menu options. The task should show a completed instance and create a new task for the balance of the reocurrences.

The problem with me is that the Agenda in Calendar gets full and it is difficult to view the actual appointments from the tasks. For example at job I have many reminders going on. Things that I need to control everyday or every Thursday. By using Calendar - I am getting confused with my daily agenda.
I have also a big issue with tasks recurrence.
What is the best application for tasks etc?
